Hari ini, Jumat (27\/5\/2016), dokumen pengerjaan enam embung ini ditandatangani Pimpinan Cabang PT Karya Kita Putra Pertiwi, Andardano Simanjorang, S.T. di Kantor Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Mesuji Sekampung.<br \/>\nPenandatanganan disaksikan langsung Kasatker PJSA Budiman, S.T., M.T., Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen (PPK) Danau Situ Embung (DSE) Heri F, S.T., M.T., Ketua Jurusan Teknik Infrastruktur dan Pengembangan Wilayah Dr. Rahayu Sulistyorini, S.T., M.T., dan lainnya.<br \/>\nEnam embung ini nantinya akan memiliki fungsi yang berbeda. Di antaranya yakni sebagai konservasi kura-kura Sumatera, sebagai konservasi flora air tawar Sumatera, dan sebagai spot olahraga dayung.
